Bruce and Stormy
Bruce and Stormy Logan married in August 2007 at sunrise on the front porch of their ranch. Since the addition of Stormy to the Foundation Station, it could be said the ranch has ‘flourished’ with too many dogs to mention and an abundance of horses! 
Having met through a passion for horsemanship, they now share their love for, and fascination with horses, with everyone who visits their home in Texas. Their door is open to all those that have the heart of the horse first, and a big Texas welcome is a certainty!
Bruce Logan
Being raised in a family producing Cutting horses in Texas, Bruce Logan says ‘I didn’t have a chance to not love horses, it was in my blood’. Bruce has dedicated his life to studying horses and continues to develop Performance horses, and shows in Cutting and Reining Cow Horse disciplines.

Bruce takes on Performance horses for development at his ranch in Texas. Basing his horsemanship upon the Foundation process; blending psychology with ridden techniques to help the horse stay soft, light and supple, while allowing the horse to figure out the correct way to efficiently and calmly utilize ‘his’ mind, body and feet. A fundamental difference, Bruce states, between ‘Developing Foundation’ and ‘Training Foundation’ is that development gives the horse responsibilities to maintain and choices to make; the horses’ attention and mind is therefore always connected to the rest of his body, and connected back to the rider, It is a two way communication where the horse stays mentally engaged and is allowed to get smarter; just like any of us do when we are allowed to figure things out or think for ourselves!
Bruce has developed his own Foundation process for the horse; infusing techniques of performance with the feel, support and communication that Bruce developed with Master Horseman Ronnie Willis. 
As a Clinician, he also undertakes colt starting and challenging horse clinics and teaches clinics in Foundation, Colt Starting and Performance at the Bruce Logan Foundation Station, Texas, and throughout the world.

Stormy Logan
Her work in ‘Foundation with Body Softness’ has culminated in individual centered clinics, where horses and students benefit from a one on one experience, even in the group dynamic;
'Every horse and human are unique, therefore in horsemanship there can not be a one size fits all methodology. I believe in individual education 
that is centered upon each horse’s specific requirements and in an understanding that takes into consideration the individual needs and abilities of the rider.
Stormy personally supports ‘students of the horse’ on the Pure Horse discussion Forum and is currently writing a book on Foundation with Body Softness. She is also developing exercises for Performance with Body Softness’, while she continues to study performance development and is working toward showing in the fields of Cutting and Reining Cow Horse, on ‘home grown’ developed horses.
